Sasha sokolova

Through her creative practice, she has come to self-discovery and now combines painting and spirituality in the "Light Codes" project by creating high-vibration paintings. She graduated from S. Andriyaka’s watercolor school and the Art Department of VGIK.

In 2017, Sasha Sokolova became the only artist from Russia to participate in the creation of the film "Loving Vincent" — the first animated feature film in history to be entirely painted in oil, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2018. In 2021, Sasha’s painting "The Last Portrait" received an honorable mention at the ModPortrait 2021 international figurative portrait competition, and in 2024, it won the People’s Choice category at the HSF Portrait Award competition at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Sasha actively exhibits her work in Russia and abroad. Her works are held in private collections around the world, including Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Russia.
